I.Aliyev received China's Special Representative for European Affairs
Baku/07.03.23/Turan: On Tuesday, President Ilham Aliyev received the Special Representative of the Chinese Government for European Affairs Wu Hongbo.
Aliyev stressed that cooperation with China is one of the main priorities of Azerbaijan's foreign policy. He expressed satisfaction with the constant strengthening of the bilateral countries, noting that they are expanding within the framework of the project One Belt, One Road.
As an example, he called the increase in the volume of cargo transportation from China through the territory of Azerbaijan to the West.
Aliyev informed about the renewable energy potential of Azerbaijan, which may be of interest to China, which has great technological capabilities in this area.
During the conversation, Chinese companies were invited to take part in reconstruction and construction works in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
In turn, the Chinese guest noted that China has always supported the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan.
At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the further expansion of cooperation in the economic, humanitarian and tourism spheres, according to a statement on the website of the President of Azerbaijan. -0-
