Baku / 18.11.20 / Turan: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an order "On measures for the design and construction of the Ahmedbeyli-Fizuli-Shusha highway."
According to the document, for the design and construction of a road with a length of 101.5 km, 50 million manats (about $ 30 million) were initially allocated to the State Agency for Roads from the reserve fund of the President of Azerbaijan envisaged in the 2020 state budget.
On November 16, the head of state took part in the ceremony of starting the construction of the road. The track, apparently, will be laid through the liberated part of the Khojavend region.
Before the conflict, road transport communication with Shusha was provided through the Agdam-Khankendi-Shusha highway and a longer route through Lachin. — 06D-
