Ilham Aliyev Attends Opening of Naval Base
On June 25, President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of a new base of the Naval Forces of the country.
Defense Minister, Zakir Hasanov familiarized Aliyev with the general plan of the new base, built to the south of Baku and the previous base, which was located on the site of the present State Flag Square.
Chief of Staff of the Navy Shahin Mammadov presented Aliyev the staff and reported on the terms and possibilities of the base. -02D-

The Kazakh side has published information about the nationality of 67 people, including 5 crew members of the AZAL plane that crashed on December 25 in Aktau. Among them, 38 people died, and 29 survived.
