On Monday in Brussels, President Ilham Aliyev held a meeting with the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini.
Aliyev arrived in Brussels on Sunday and will hold a series of meetings there and talks about the future of the partnership agreement between the EU and Azerbaijan.
Recall that Baku insists on economic cooperation, not wanting to include articles on political cooperation into the agreement. However, these proposals are not welcomed by Brussels, which has no intention to separate the issues of politics, rights and freedoms from other questions. -02D-
