Ilham Aliyev congratulated the Jewish community with the holiday
President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory message to the Jewish community on the occasion of Rosh Hashanah."Jews, hundreds of years of living in this country and consider it their homeland, have never been subjected to anti-Semitism and discrimination in Azerbaijan, they live in peace and tranquility in our multicultural society," the message says.
Guarantying human rights and freedoms, regardless of language, religion, ethnicity is one of the priorities undertaken in Azerbaijan public policy.
The citizens of Jewish origin today are directly involved in the socio-political, scientific and cultural life of Azerbaijan, adequately perform their civic duty, - the message reads. -02D-
