Ilham Aliyev discusses the issue with Commissioner of Human Rights
President Ilham Aliyev received the EU Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and the expansion Johannes Hahn and his delegation.
During the meeting the sides exchanged views on all issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU, including the economic, energy, cultural and other issues.
The two sides exchanged views on the issue of human rights protection. It was noted that there is potential for cooperation in this area. Aliyev said that Azerbaijan has provided the citizen's right of freedom of assembly, media, expression and the Internet. -16D04-
