Ilham Aliyev expressed condolences to the President of Greece
Baku/03.03.23/Turan: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent telegrams of condolences to the head of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, in connection with the numerous victims of the train accident near the city of Larissa.
"We are extremely saddened by the news of the death and injury of a large number of people as a result of the collision of passenger and freight trains near the city of Larissa," the message says.
In connection with this grave tragedy, Aliyev expressed his deep condolences to the President and the people of Greece, the families, and relatives of the victims, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
On March 1, as a result of a collision of two trains in Greece, 36 people were killed, dozens were injured. ---06B---
