Ilham Aliyev Holds Meeting on Cotton Production
Baku / 26.03.18 / Turan: On March 26, in the city of Barda (300 km from Baku), President Ilham Aliyev held a meeting on the development of cotton growing in the country.
In his speech, Ilham Aliyev noted the great importance of cotton production for the development of the country's textile industry and for export as a source of currency.
He touched upon historical traditions in the production of cotton in the country and the role of the Barda district as one of the leaders in this field. Aliyev called on local and central authorities to do everything necessary to support the production of cotton, promising the farmers the entire support from the state. -02D-
