Ilham Aliyev Inaugurated as President of Azerbaijan
Baku / 18.04.18 / Turan: On April 18, the inauguration ceremony of Ilham Aliyev, who became the President of Azerbaijan for the fourth time, was held in the Milli Majlis.
State officials and members of the government and the parliament took part in the ceremony.
The Head of the Constitutional Court Farhad Abdullayev reported about the April 17 approval of the results of the April 11 elections and the victory of Ilham Aliyev.
Then Ilham Aliyev took the oath. "By fulfilling the powers of the President of Azerbaijan, I swear to observe the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to protect the independence and territorial integrity of the state, and to serve the people with dignity!
With my hand on the Holy Qur'an, I swear to be committed to national and spiritual values and traditions created by the Azerbaijani people for centuries, and constantly cherish them," Ilham Aliyev said. -02D-

Adalyat Verdiyev, the head of the civil defense staff at the public legal entity Center for Public Health and Reform under the Ministry of Health, and a military expert, has been arrested. On November 22, during a media tour to the liberated territories, Verdiyev filmed and published information and images on his social media accounts revealing Azerbaijani Armed Forces' combat positions in the heights, deployment sites, coordinates, and operational conditions of the border troops.
