Ilham Aliyev received a delegation of the World Bank and ADB
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received the Vice President of the World Bank's Europe and Central Asia Laura Tak.
During the meeting they discussed issues of further optimization of the economic activity in Azerbaijan, wide-ranging reforms in the services sector, the important work carried out by "ASAN xidmət".
The WB for its part, is interested in supporting the economic reforms in Azerbaijan.
Today, President Aliyev received the head of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Takehiko Nakao.
The guest expressed confidence that in 2015 Azerbaijan will participate at a high level 48th annual meeting of the ADB, which will be open to representatives of the private sector. -06D—

On November 28, another hearing took place in the case of public activist Ilhamiz Guliyev. During the proceedings, the court reviewed a response from the 28th Police Station of the Yasamal District in Baku. At the previous hearing, the defense had requested that the court obtain footage from the surveillance cameras at this police station, where Guliyev was taken on December 4 of last year. However, the police response stated that the video footage had not been preserved.
