Ilham Aliyev Received Vice-President of Iran and New Israeli Ambassador
September 5, President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Vice President of Iran, President of the Cultural Heritage and culture of Iran Seyed Hassan Mousavi.
Stressing that cultural relations are of great importance in the development of bilateral relations, President Aliyev noted the importance of the upcoming conference in Baku on "Taste of the Silk Road: Cookery, Culture and Tourism." The President expressed confidence that bilateral relations between our countries are making good progress in the future.
Seyed Hassan Mousavi conveyed the message of the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He said that his visit to Azerbaijan is a good opportunity to discuss issues related to the further development of bilateral relations between our countries.
The sides exchanged views on issues concerning bilateral relations.
On the same day, Ilham Aliyev received the credentials of the new Ambassador of Israel to Azerbaijan Rafael Harpaz. Ambassador conveyed Ilham Aliyev greetings from the President of Israel, Shimon Peres.
At the meeting, it was emphasized that the level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Israel is encouraging an exchange of views on the further development of relations. -02D-
