On Friday, the head of state Ilham Aliyev received the Commander of the Border Guards of Iran Gasim Rzayee.
During the meeting they discussed issues of joint work in the light of international calls and coordination of border services of the two countries.
Today Aliyev received the First Deputy Director of the Federal Security Service, the commander of Russia’s Border Guard Service Vladimir Kulishov,
Mutual readiness to strengthen and develop cooperation between the border agencies of the two countries to solve problems together was expressed.
It should be noted that the Iranian team is in Baku for three days. According to unofficial information, on 8 March a trilateral meeting was to be held with the participation of the Chief of the Russian border guards. Apparently, this meeting will be held only today. -02D-

Shamshad Aga, editor of the "Argument.az" website, has been found guilty in the Meydan TV case of smuggling (Article 206.3.2 of the Criminal Code) and sentenced to two months and one day in detention.
