On Friday, President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy, Martha Dass.
During the meeting they discussed the development of bilateral relations, discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation in various fields and especially in the energy sector. In particular, they discussed issues of transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Italy through future pipelines, and the involvement of Italian companies in these projects. -02D-

On February 13, the Appeal Court did not satisfy the defense's appeal against the decision of the Khatai Court regarding the arrest of journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi. According to the lawyer, the journalist herself did not participate in the trial due to poor health. The defense intends to submit a petition to replace the arrest with house arrest.
