On October 26 Ilham Aliyev received the Japanese delegation headed by Akira Amari, the State Minister for Economic and Financial Policies. The head of state noted that Akira Amari is the head of the Interparliamentary Friendship Group Japan-Azerbaijan, and is well acquainted with Azerbaijan.
Aliyev stressed the importance of long-term and successful operation of Japanese companies in Azerbaijan, in particular, the investments of major investments in the energy sector, as well as the implementation of many important projects.
Akira Amari, in turn, expressed his government's interest in developing relations with Azerbaijan.
During the meeting the sides exchanged views on specific issues and projects of cooperation in the energy, petrochemical fields, in education, health, agriculture, etc.-02D-

From 19 to 26 July, 24 automatic rifles, 1 machine gun, 9 rifles, 28 grenades, 441 shells, 3118 cartridges of different calibre and other ammunition were found in Khankendi, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported. President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
