On Tuesday, President Ilham Aliyev received the Iranian delegation headed by Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Iran, Mahmoud Vaezi.
Noting the good cooperation between the two countries in political, economic, cultural and other fields, Aliyev expressed confidence with regular meeting of the State Commission for Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran will further strengthen the economic, commercial and humanitarian spheres.
In turn, Mahmoud Vaezi said that he witnessed the serious development of Baku, and the rapid development processes in Azerbaijan deeply impressed him.
The sides exchanged views on prospects of bilateral relations in various areas, including energy, transport, oil transportation, shipbuilding, trade, banking, science and sports. -02D-
