Ilham Aliyev Sends Telegram of Condolences to Vladimir Putin

In connection with the terrorist assault in the St. Petersburg subway that resulted in human casualties, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev sent a telegram of condolences to the head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

“I am deeply shocked by the news of human casualties in the explosion that occurred in the subway of St. Petersburg. We strongly condemn any actions directed against innocent civilians. On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I express my sincere condolences to you and to the families and relatives of the deceased. I wish a speedy recovery to all the victims,” the message reads.   -06d--
