Ilham Aliyev: This is another military crime
Baku / 06.07.17 / Turan: On 6 July the Turkish President Rajab Tayyip Erdogan phoned his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev to express his condolences on the murder of two Azerbaijani civilians by the Armenian military, the presidential press service reported.
Ilham Aliyev said during a telephone conversation that the last incident is another military crime committed by the Armenian Armed Forces against the peaceful population of Azerbaijan.
The head of state stressed that the bloody crime committed against civilians is a manifestation of another atrocity. Responsibility for war crimes rests with the political leadership of Armenia.
During the telephone conversation, various aspects of relations between the two countries were touched upon.
According to the report of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, on July 4 the Armed Forces of Armenia bombarded with mortars of 82 and 120 mm caliber, as well as from grenade launchers the village of Alkhanly of Fizuli region.
As a result, two civilians died: Sahiba Guliyeva and her two-year-old granddaughter Zahra Guliyeva. Sarvinaz Guliyeva had a fragmentation wound, she was operated in a military hospital. -0--
