Today, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Astana to take part in the VI Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian states, Kazakh media reported. The current summit of the leaders of the countries is being held in an expanded format with the participation of Transcaspian Azerbaijan.
Recently, the leadership of Azerbaijan has intensified ties with the countries of Central Asia on a bilateral basis and in multilateral formats, and above all within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States.
