In Armenia, due to death of 15 soldiers in fire, the commander of corps and 8 other officers were dismissed
Baku/19.01.23/Turan: Commander of the second army corps of the Armenian Armed Forces Vahram Grigoryan was dismissed from his post a few hours after the death of 15 soldiers.
According to Armenian media, on January 19, at 1:30 a.m., a fire broke out in the barracks of an engineering company of one of the military units stationed in the village of Azat, Gegharkunik region. As a result, 15 servicemen were killed, three more are in serious condition.
According to the Armenian Public TV, the chief of staff of the corps, two deputy commanders, as well as the entire brigade command will also be dismissed. In total, 9 senior officers will be fired. -02D-
