In the near future, the UN mission will visit Karabakh again – I. Aliyev
Baku/06.10.23/Turan: In the near future, the office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, together with representatives of the relevant specialized structures of this organization, will visit Karabakh again, the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced on October 6 at a meeting with the Director of the Regional Office for Europe of the World Health Organization, Hans Henry Kluge.
Aliyev stressed that it was the separatists who caused panic among the local population in Karabakh and forced the Armenian residents to move to Armenia. Aliyev stressed that currently important infrastructure facilities, as well as historical, religious and cultural monuments in the region are protected by the police.
Kluge, for his part, noted that the first visit of the UN mission to the Karabakh region last Sunday, which included representatives of the office of the UN Resident Coordinator and the WHO Baku office, was highly appreciated. ---06B---
