In the Ranking of Perceived Corruption, Azerbaijan was 139th
The International Organization, Transparency International, published CPI for year 2012.
Azerbaijan is 139th in the rating of 174 countries of world sharing the placement with Nigeria, Kenya, Nepal and Pakistan. Georgia has the 51st place, and Armenia is 105th.
Three other Azerbaijan neighbors, Russia, Kazakhstan and Iran, share the 133rd place.
The top three leaders are Denmark, Finland and New Zealand. They are followed by Sweden, Singapore, Norway, Canada, and the Netherlands. The U.S. is in 19th place.
In 2011, Azerbaijan had the ranking of 143rd place in perceived corruption out of 183 countries. In 2010 it was 134th out of 178 countries. -03D06-
