Baku/13.10.23/Turan: On Friday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin and Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali discussed the need for regular work in the "three plus three" format in the South Caucasus, the message of the Russian Foreign Ministry. 

In particular, the parties discussed "the importance of resuming the rhythmic work of the consultative regional platform "3+3".

Earlier, Baku, Moscow, Tehran and Ankara announced the need to activate this format. Later, Yerevan also supported this initiative. Tbilisi has not yet expressed its relations. According to some reports, the next meeting in this format should be held in Tehran.

* The "3+3" format (Turkey, Iran, Russia + Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia) was proposed in December 2020 by Turkish President Erdogan to discuss and solve problems in the South Caucasus. ---02D---
