Iranian Authorities Finally Released Two Azerbaijani Citizens
Iranian authorities have released the citizens of Azerbaijan - Khalida Khalid and Shamhal Huseynov, who were arrested a month ago. They were handed over to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran, MFA of Azerbaijan told Turan.
In the coming days Khalid and Huseynov will return to their homeland, said the Foreign Ministry of the country.
From other comments the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan abstained.
An employee of the Institute of Literature of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan Khalida Khalid and her driver Shamhal Huseynov were arrested on April 30 by the Iranian secret service ETTELAAT in the apartment of the activist for the rights of Iranian Azerbaijanis Muhammad Ohtay. -06B -
