Ilham Aliyev Received the Head of the International Committee of the State Duma and the Russian Ambassador
President Ilham Aliyev on June 3 received Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation on International Relations, the head of the Russian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Alexei Pushkov.
As the website of the President said, the meeting stressed that the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia are developing successfully in various fields, noted the contribution of inter-parliamentary relations to the further strengthening of relations. During the meeting, the sides noted the active cooperation of the two countries within the framework of international organizations, including the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the mutual support is highly appreciated in this structure.
On Monday, Aliyev received the Ambassador of the Russian Federation Vladimir Dorokhin.
The Ambassador informed the President about the issue in Russia of commemorative stamps on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and gave Aliyev samples of the brand.
During the meeting, it was stressed that the bilateral relations between the two countries are developing successfully in various fields and the sides expressed confidence that the relationship will develop in the future. -06D -
