Iran�s Defense Minister: Tehran Ready to Share Military Experience with Baku
Baku / 23.02.18 / Turan: Iran's Defense Minister expressed Tehran's readiness to share its military experience with Azerbaijan. This is stated in the message of the agency IRNA.
"Tehran and Baku have historical, cultural and religious communities that pave the way for strengthening bilateral relations in the military sphere," Defense Minister Amir Hatami said during his visit to Azerbaijan's Heydar Aliyev Higher Military College.
The head of the Higher Military College, Major General Heydar Piriyev called for using the experience of the Iranian military forces to raise the level of the Azerbaijani military.
He expressed the hope that the military universities of the two countries in the future will exchange students for the development of bilateral cooperation.
The Iranian Defense Minister arrived in Baku on February 21 at the head of the military delegation at the invitation of his Azerbaijani counterpart Zakir Hasanov. -02D-
