Baku / 10.07.17 / Turan: The MP from Urmia in the Iranian parliament Ruhullah Hazretpour accused the Foreign Ministry of his country of the absence of a resolute reaction to the crimes committed by Armenia against Muslims in Nagorno-Karabakh, Iranian media reported.

A corresponding message addressed to Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif was read at an open session of the Iranian parliament, Anadolu reports.

"Silence in response to these crimes casts a shadow over the impeccable reputation of the Iranian Foreign Ministry and Mr. Zarif," the message reads.

The MP believes the Iranian Foreign Ministry has not demonstrated a decisive position in response to crimes against the Muslims of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The woman and child died on July 4 as a result of the shelling of the Azerbaijani village of Alkhanly in Karabakh by the Armenian armed forces. This crime was condemned by the United States, the European Union, Russia, Turkey and others. -0-
