Baku/22.11.22/Turan: On November 22, President of the State of Israel Isaac Herzog made a phone call to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Isaac Herzog thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the decision to open an embassy of Azerbaijan in Israel, and noted that this is a great step forward for the excellent ties with Azerbaijan, an important friendly country and strategic partner for Israel.

On the evening of February 5, it was reported that journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi had been arrested. She had been a presenter on the Toplum TV channel for several years. After a criminal case was initiated against the channel in March 2024 and nearly all of its staff were arrested, Beylargizi was questioned multiple times.
