Istanbul to host the 13th Congress of the World Azerbaijanis Congress
Thirteenth Congress of the World Azerbaijanis Congress (WAC) will be held in Istanbul on April 18. The press service of the organization said that the congress will focus on the interaction of the Azerbaijani and Turkish diasporas, in particular, the issue of combating Armenian propaganda on the "Armenian genocide." WAC is one of the biggest Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations.
The first congress of WAC was held in 1997 in Los Angeles, and later in Washington, The Hague, Brussels, Stockholm, Frankfurt, Keln Cologne, Bonn and Donetsk. WAC has a territorial structures in all countries where Azerbaijanis live.
WAC co-chairs are Azerbaijani MP Sabir Rustamkhanli and native of South Azerbaijan, Firudin Parvizniya. -03D-
