Jamil Gasanli meeting with voters in Sumgait

Baku/07.10.13/Turan : The presidential candidate of the National Council of Democratic Forces ( NCDF ) Jamil Gasanli on Sunday held a meeting with the voters of the city of Sumgait .

Around The House of Culture named after Nizami , where the meeting was, a large force of police was focused.

Gasanli arrived in Sumgait together with the leaders of the parties Musavat and PFPA, Isa Gambar and Ali Kerimli.

Speaking in support of Gasanli, the leader of the Popular Front Kerimli said that during the rule of the Aliyev regime Sumgayit became an unemployed city.

"As Jamil Gasanli demonstrated during the campaign, Ilham Aliyev during his time in power sees Azerbaijan as a private entity. That is why he is now the richest person not only in Azerbaijan , but in the world," said Kerimli .

In turn, Gambar said Sumgayit always voted for the representatives of the democratic camp . "Azerbaijan does not belong to thieves or the Aliyevs and you proved that in 2003. Sumgayit is a " model of Azerbaijan" as people from all regions reside here. In this election it is clear that only Gasanli fights against the corrupted regime," Gambar said , calling Sumgayit on to vote for the candidate of NCDF.

Gasanli drew attention to the fact that Sumgait was created as an industrial city and the collapse of the USSR stopped the enterprises in the city, causing poverty. The current regime has been unable to resolve this poverty.

He noted that the government is contemptuous of the people , and therefore it allotted unsuitable places for the candidatesto meet with the voters.

" They see people as their servants . If he is not fighting for voters, this means he considers himself a padishah. Our people will not allow it , as we are grandchildren of Mammadamin Rasulzadeh," said Gasanli .

He also noted that in the Karabakh war Azerbaijan lost many of its sons.

" Their families are now living in poverty. Ilham Aliyev travels to areas, only visiting monuments and museums of his father. Why did he not even once visit the Alley of Martyrs ? He is spending millions to install monuments to his father abroad," said Gasanli. -06D--
