Jeyhun Bayramov received Igor Khovayev
Baku/09.09.22/Turan: On September 9, 2022, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov received the special representative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation for the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Igor Khovayev.
The parties exchanged views on the issues on the bilateral agenda between Azerbaijan and Russia, the current situation in the region, including various aspects of the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the steps taken in this context, and the work done in the field of confidence-building measures.
In order to ensure peace and security in the region, the importance of the full implementation of the provisions of the tripartite statements signed by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia, as well as the agreements reached within the normalization process, was emphasized.
Other regional issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.-0-
