Large-scale exercises near the front line
In accordance with the plan of combat training in the year 2014 , under the leadership of Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov began regular large-scale exercises of units of Azerbaijani armed forces near the front line.
As the press service of the Defense Ministry said, during the exercise there were conducted practical firings with armored vehicles, rocket artillery and mortars. In addition, military aircraft and air defense systems were involved.
The exercise verified combat readiness of units, swifter and more effective use of military missions, training headquarters operations, interaction and organization of maintenance, and performance of combat missions. -03D06-
