Louis Bono arrived in Yerevan
Baku/14.09.23/Turan: On Thursday, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan received Louis Bono, adviser to the US State Department for negotiations in the South Caucasus.
According to the press service of the Armenian Security Council, "Grigoryan and Bono discussed the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh, the humanitarian crisis and efforts aimed at overcoming it, as well as issues related to the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations."
Bono's visit to the region has not been announced, but most likely he will arrive in Baku from Yerevan. As for the goals of this tour, it can be assumed that Washington is preparing for the next meeting of representatives of Baku and Yerevan in the United States.
Previously, these were the foreign ministers of the two countries or the head of the Armenian Security Council and the assistant to the President of Azerbaijan for foreign policy. Representatives of the State Department reported on holding such a meeting earlier in an interview with the Washington correspondent of Turan. ---02B---
