On Thursday the Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov discussed in Paris with French Secretary of State for European Affairs, Harlem Désir, the situation around the Karabakh conflict, the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry. They exchanged views on the results of the recent meeting in Vienna on Nagorno Karabakh, and ways of resuming negotiations for a political solution to the conflict. They also discussed issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union. -02D-

From 19 to 26 July, 24 automatic rifles, 1 machine gun, 9 rifles, 28 grenades, 441 shells, 3118 cartridges of different calibre and other ammunition were found in Khankendi, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported. President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
