
Mammadyarov discussed the North-South project with the Iranian diplomat
The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Ibrahim Rahimpur, Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran, who arrived in Baku to participate in the 48th meeting of the Special Working Group on the development of the Convention of the legal status of the Caspian.
According to the MFA press service, during the meeting he expressed satisfaction with the current level of bilateral relations. In addition to bilateral cooperation, they also discussed the development of international transport corridors, including the North-South railway construction. The development of trilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkey to ensure peace, stability in the region were also discussed.
