Residents of Talish do not want to go back to the village
The Armenians evacuees from the village of Talish after the April war refused to return, according to the Armenian service of the radio station's website "Freedom". The radio station was told by Marine Sahakyan, who said the local authorities that she would not go to the village because it is impossible to live there.
Despite the claims of the Armenian officials that as a result of the fighting the Armenian side has not lost territories, the local government is building for residents of Talish new homes elsewhere, including Shusha; but the villagers say that in the village of Talysh there are not necessary conditions to stay: no kindergartens, schools, hospitals, shops. How to live there?
On April 2-4, the Azerbaijani troops occupied the heights around this village in the north of Karabakh and local residents were evacuated. The village in which lived several hundred people, was severely damaged by shelling and the Armenian side attempts to restore it to no avail.
Armenian military recognize that the position of the Azerbaijani side, allow to control not only the village itself, but also the position of the Armenian troops. -02D-
