Mass riots in Iran continue
Baku/23.09.22/Turan: Mass protests and clashes with law enforcement forces have been going on in Iran for more than a week. The authorities fail to suppress the protests that began after the murder of 23-year-old Mahs Amini. She was beaten by the vice police for wearing the headscarf incorrectly. The protests that began after that continue and are gaining momentum. More than 17 people have already died in the clashes.
Iranian women rip off their headscarves in the streets and refuse to wear them again.
Videos on social media show just how strong the protests are and how brutal the vice police are. --02B--
