Meeting civil society platform with the head of the EU mission
On Wednesay the Civil Society Platform (CSP) held a broad meeting with the head of EU Delegation in Baku, Malena Mard EU and office staff. During the meeting, Mard was informed about the establishment and activity of the CSP, its goals and objectives.
It was also affected by the socio-political situation, the real state of civil society and the media, the problem of freedom of expression and of political prisoners, the consequences of the deteriorating socio-economic situation and the search for ways out of the crisis, as well as relations with international structures Azerbaijan. The sides noted the importance of cooperation in the framework of the bilateral dialogue, and the need to strengthen relations between the EU and STP.

From 19 to 26 July, 24 automatic rifles, 1 machine gun, 9 rifles, 28 grenades, 441 shells, 3118 cartridges of different calibre and other ammunition were found in Khankendi, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported. President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
