Meeting of Representative of British Foreign Office with Opposition
On August 25, the British Embassy in Baku hosted a meeting of the head of the Eastern Europe and Central Asia Department of the British Foreign Office Michael Tatham with representatives of the Azerbaijani opposition.
As stated by the party Musavat, the meeting was attended by the leader of Musavat Arif Hajili, the leader of the Popular Front Party Ali Kerimli and the executive director of the movement REAL Natig Jafarli.
The themes of the discussion were the socio-political situation in the country, the problem of political prisoners, the Karabakh conflict, the upcoming parliamentary elections and other issues. -02D-
