Meeting of the Armenian-Azerbaijani commission on border delimitation to be held in Moscow on May 16-17 - Mirzoyan
Baku/12.05.22/Turan: A meeting of the commissions of Azerbaijan and Armenia on border delimitation and border security is scheduled for next week in Moscow, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said on Thursday.
“We talked with our Azerbaijani colleagues on the issue of creating commissions for delimitation and border security. There is an agreement with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Overchuk that they are going to meet on communications in Moscow on May 16-17, and there, on the same days, there will be a bilateral meeting on delimitation and border security,” Armenian media quoted Mirzoyan as saying from the meeting on May 12 with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Dushanbe.
It should be noted that Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk will arrive in Yerevan on Thursday to coordinate the agenda of the upcoming meeting. Apparently, he will arrive in Baku from Yerevan.-02D-

On December 18, the Baku Appeals Court rejected the appeal by economist and scholar Gubad Ibadoglu, challenging the decision to maintain his travel ban. Ibadoglu’s defense team had requested the lifting of the ban so that he could accept an invitation to attend the Sakharov Prize award ceremony at the European Parliament on December 17. Ibadoglu was one of the finalists for the prize, but the Narimanov District Court on December 3 had denied this request.
