Memorandum signed between Prosecutor General's Offices of Azerbaijan and Lithuania
Baku/21.02.23/Turan: A memorandum of understanding and cooperation was signed between the Prosecutor General's Offices of Azerbaijan and Lithuania.
Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev met with Lithuanian Prosecutor General Nida Grunskene to discuss issues of cooperation within the framework of the International Association of Prosecutors "Eurocast" and other structures. As a result, a Memorandum of Understanding and cooperation was signed between the Prosecutor General's Offices of the two countries, the Prosecutor General's Office said in a statement on February 21.
Note that the delegation of the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan visited Vilnius at the invitation of the Prosecutor General of Lithuania Nida Grunskene and the head of the Special Investigative Service Edrunas Bartkus.
During the meeting at the Special Investigative Service, Aliyev announced the completion of the EU project: "Support for reforms in the system of return and management of property in Azerbaijan".
He also spoke about the legislative and institutional reforms being carried out in Azerbaijan, noting the need for international cooperation to identify, arrest and confiscate property obtained by criminal means.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Lithuania Tamerlan Garayev took part in the meetings. -16D-

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan rejected Ilham Aliyev's demands for Yerevan to stop acquiring weapons.
