Mikhail Saakashvili comes without his guard
In the afternoon, the Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili and his wife have made official visit to Baku; they arrived without guard.
According to Saakashvili, he has been without guard for more than five weeks; he rejected the guard after the premier appointed his own bodyguard a head of State Security Service. The delegation which arrived with Saakashvili includes also the Mayor of Tbilisi with his wife, former Prime Minister Nika Gilauri, and members of parliament.
The program of a two-day visit is not disclosed. The Embassy of Georgia says nothing, and the official Baku does not comment on the visit.
Immediately after the arrival, Saakashvili met with the President Ilham Aliyev. -02D-
