Mikhail Saakashvili: There are people interested in the destabilization of Azerbaijan(video)

There are forces interested in undermining stability in Azerbaijan and the region,  the journalists in Baku were told by the  Georgian President, Mikhail Saakashvili.

"Without exaggeration I can say that the future destiny of the region  is decided in Baku, Azerbaijan,"

said Saakashvili after his speech at the South Caucasus  Forum. However, he stressed the talk is not  only about the independence of Azerbaijan, but also Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, the whole post-Soviet space.

The fate of Europe's security and freedom in the world is decided in Azerbaijan, Saakashvili said. In his view, there are negative forces interested in the violation of  stability in Azerbaijan.

"We have  felt it on  ourselves, he said.  These forces want to suspend the progress made by Azerbaijan and will make efforts to stop it," Saakashvili said.

According to him, Azerbaijan's successes  can prevent imperial ambitions of some forces. 

A few months  ago, in his return  to Tbilisi from Baku ,  Saakashvili said that Russia was preparing the change of power in Azerbaijan. —06D-
