Extended registration of national projects StartUp
The date of registration of the national projects StartUp has been extended by 10 days. The deadline for applications is May 20.
According to the president of the local Internet Forum Osman Gunduz, since the beginning of the campaign bids submitted approximately 40 participants. It is a lot to begin with, but by international standards, not many.
There are already the first violations of the rules. Will be expelled from the competition who was registered, but did not provide sufficient information in the file docs.
Classes for those who will be attached to the contest will begin on June 7-8, the jury will determine the finalists on June 25. At the end of next month, the finalists will meet with potential investors of the projects, and on 30 June the presentation ceremony of the beneficiaries "StartUp Azerbaijan."
The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
The main sponsor is Bakcell, and the sponsors are local Microsoft and the company Infi Pro.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
