The Israeli edition timesofisrael.com reported that the topic of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel has been one of the most important in the course of the meeting, Prime Minister Netanyahu and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Baku on 13 December.
During the final press conference, Aliyev emphasized as an achievement of arms purchases from Israel for $4.85 billion. Most of the contracts have yet to be developed, Aliyev said, noting that this is not the limit.
The edition reports that Baku is studying the Israeli air defense system "Iron Dome". Tactical missile defense system designed to intercept enemy missiles, provides about 90 per cent protection against missile attack.-0-
