Military cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan will be upgraded, Shoigu
During the meeting on Monday with the head of the military department of Azerbaijan's Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu discussed security issues in the region and the adjustment of military-technical cooperation program. "I think we will have the opportunity today to discuss the security situation in the region and in the Middle East. In addition, we have a great program of military and military-technical cooperation, which also requires its correction," press service of the Defense Ministry quoted Shoigu.
Shoigu also said that the cooperation will be discussed separately in the Caspian part of a joint security operation in the water area, and expressed the hope that those programs that were prepared in the past year, will be implemented in full.
In turn, the Defense Minister of Azerbaijan Zakir Hasanov said that the visit of the Russian minister is of great importance for the development of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia. -02D-
