Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan denied report about shelling of Armenian positions
Baku/20.06.23/Turan: The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan denied the report of the Armenian military department about the shelling of Armenian positions located near the border of the two countries.
"The report of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia about the alleged shelling of the positions of the Armenian armed forces in the direction of the Garaiman settlement by the Azerbaijani army units at 00.20 on June 20 from small arms of various calibers is another lie of the military department of this country, and is contrary to reality. We strongly refute this information from the opposite side," the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a press release.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia reported that "on June 20, at 00:20, units of the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire from small arms of various calibers in the direction of the Armenian positions located on the Kakhakna section." -06B-
