Monthly salary of servicemen in Azerbaijan up by 20%, and salary of special forces up by 2.1 times
Baku/07.11.23/Turan: President Ilham Aliyev signed decrees on an average 20% growth in the monthly salary of active servicemen of the Ministry of Defense, the Main Directorate of Internal Troops of the Interior Ministry and the State Border Service from January 1, 2024.
A decree was also signed on raising the monthly salaries of officers, warrant officers and overtime servicemen of the Special Forces of the Ministry of Defense by an average of 2.1 times from January 1, 2024.-03-

The Prosecutor's Office is investigating the deaths of two people during the recent floods in Baku, Baku Mayor Eldar Azizov said commenting on the consequences of the flooding of tunnels in the capital during the heavy rains on October 22 to journalists. According to him, the sewer system could not handle the large volume of floodwater, which led to the drowning of two people in a tunnel in the Sabunchu district of Baku.
