Moscow sharply condemned Pashinyan's speech in European Parliament
Baku/18.10.23/Turan: Russia regards the speech of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the European Parliament as irresponsible and provocative. This was stated to the TASS News Agency by a high-ranking source in Moscow.
"We see how they are trying to turn Armenia into Ukraine No. 3 (if Moldova is considered Ukraine No. 2), and Pashinyan is following the path of Vladimir Zelensky by leaps and bounds," the agency interlocutor stressed.
In particular, speaking at the European Parliament on October 17, Pashinyan accused Russian peacekeepers of inaction in terms of the resettlement of the Armenian population from Nagorno-Karabakh.
He also criticized the "security allies", without naming specific countries. According to him, when 100.000 people fled from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia, Yerevan's allies "not only did not help, but also made public calls for a change of power."
The Armenian Prime Minister also stated his readiness to cooperate with the European Union and get as close to this association as possible. -02D-
