MPs proposed to introduce a quarantine violation penalty
Baku/16.03.20/Turan: Persons violating the quarantine regime and hygiene rules will be fined. Such a proposal was made on March 16 at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on legal policy. Corresponding changes to the Code of Administrative Violations will be discussed at the plenary meeting of the Milli Majlis on March 17.
The proposed amendments impose a fine from individuals from 10 to 500 manats for violating the quarantine regime, officials from 1,500 to 2,000 manats and from legal entities from 2,000 to 5,000 manats. For some type of violation, it is proposed to introduce an arrest for one month.
What specific types of violations are meant is not yet clear.-02D-
