Mubariz Gurbanli: NAP Not Responsible for Gular Ahmedova
The Deputy Executive Secretary of the ruling party New Azerbaijan (NAP) Mubariz Gurbanli believes that the issue of fraud by the MP Guler Ahmadova should not be subject to debate for the faction of the ruling party.
"She wrote a letter to the Speaker, asking the Parliament to terminate her Deputy mandate. So the question is closed," he added to the reporters.
However, he did not answer the question why the NAP management did not apply to the victims of the fraud committed by Ahmedova or others.
Gurbanli did not answer the question of NAP or consider it necessary to evaluate the actions of its members.
It seems that the ruling party leadership fears that citizens will bring too many complaints. -17D-

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) today issued five rulings on applications from Azerbaijan. The case of "Afgan Mammadov v. Azerbaijan" concerned the complainant's exclusion from the Bar Association. Mammadov was expelled based on a complaint filed by a colleague, which he considered unjust. The ECHR ruled that Mammadov's rights had been violated and ordered Azerbaijan to pay him €5,000 in compensation for moral damage and €1,000 to cover legal costs.
